With the companies Ocem Power Electronics in Italy and Ampegon in Switzerland, ACT has written a century of European history and innovation in the field of power electronics and radiofrequency. In the last decade, Priatherm cooling systems and AT-Accelerator Technologies solutions have been added.

The division, with a team of 100 people (80% engineers), partners with the world’s largest international scientific projects in nuclear fusion (ITER, Consorzio RFX, DTT), particle physics (CERN, Daphne, Elettra), and medicine (CNAO, Medaustron). Its systems, power supplies and amplifiers are used in more than 20 countries and in 70 state-of-the-art research facilities around the world.
